External Sales Consultant: Computer Hardware and Software

Xpand IT is looking for a dynamic, well-spoken sales professional who is driven by commission. The successful candidate will need to be a self starter able to generate new leads by cold calling. The applicant should also have a minimum of two years experience in the sales environment.

Minimum Requirements:
Matric
Excellent communication skills in English
Drivers license
Own car
MS Office proficient
Hardware and software sales experience including servers, desktops, notebooks as well as Microsoft software
Knowledge of Dell hardware is advantageous

Job Specification:
External Sales of computer hardware and softwareReporting to the Directors, you will be responsible and accountable for the achievement of sales targets in selling computer hardware and software. This role will also include administrative activities associated to the position.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Cold calling to establish new leads
Set up of appointments with potential clients
Meeting and exceeding sales targets
Communicate client requirements with Internal Sales Administrator for quoting purposes
Communicating with suppliers and preparing of quotations for customers
The development of key accounts and regular interaction with these
Weekly reporting to Directors
