What We Do
The Vault is our version of secure data storage. We developed this product in-house to safeguard our customers’ data as one of the downsides of cloud-based backups is that they are susceptible to ransomware.
Description
Many backup environments are based on Microsoft technologies, which are a common target of ransomware. To maintain the real-time protection and safeguarding of backed up data, we developed The Vault; customer’s data is stored in this offline, firmware-based environment. Of course, this environment is still part of Tier 1 datacentres, and the information is always accessible for legitimate reasons.
